Frequently Asked Questions

Thrive Amiga is a community that brings together Latinas within the Charlotte area. We organize two types of events, takeovers, and exclusive events. 

Takeovers are not organized exclusively by Thrive Amiga, but by other organizers and are open to the public. These are more like meetups where we bring the Thrive community and add our own little touch to these events :)  

Thrive Amiga exclusive events are organized solely by us and/or with a collaborator, and are meant for our Thrive Amiga community members only. Whether you join us at a takeover or an exclusive event, you're sure to connect with an Amiga or two!

Absolutely not! In Thrive Amiga Community, we wholeheartedly welcome all Latinas. Our goal is not to create divisions among Latinas but to bring us together and foster a sense of unity.

So you'll hear English, Spanglish, and Spanish at our events!

Currently, all you need to do to attend an event is RSVP. However, please note that some events added to the calendar may have associated costs on certain occasions.

We are always happy to connect with others who are looking to support and build those in our community!
